ENTERTAINMENT WORLD: HEY...FIFA WORLD CUP IS BACK IN 2014

Hello guys … How are you? I hope you are in pink of health. Our next post about entertainment is sport. Since we are in 2014, the hot topic for this sport entertainment is about 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Before we proceed to this FIFA World Cup 2014, we want to introduce to you about what is FIFA World Cup?

FIFA World Cup is one of the famous and biggest event sporting competition in the world and it host by a nation via vote and decision from the FIFA. It also contested by national senior team that have been qualified to the best 32 teams by a qualification phase. This event was held every four years since 1930 except 1942 and 1946 because of the 2nd world war.

And now FIFA World Cup was held at Brazil is the 20^th event and the tournament currently taking place at several 12 venues and stadium across Brazil such as Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Brasilia, Fortaleza, Salvador, Porto Alegre, Recife, Manaus ,Cuiaba, Natal and Curitiba. For the first time at FIFA World Cup final and match official are using goal-line technology as well as vanishing foam for freekicks.

There are many awards to be receive by the players and team such as Man Of The Match (MOM), Adidas Golden Ball (most outstanding player), Adidas Golden Boot (leading goalscorer), Adidas Golden Glove (most outstanding goalkeeper), Hyundai Young Player Award (best young footballer) and Fair Play (team with good disciplinary record).

All the champion team since first World Cup such as Argentina, Brazil, England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Uruguay are qualified into this competition. During the tournament in the group stage, the title holders, Spain were eliminated at the group stage after losses in the first two matches. It also happen to England and Italy that eliminated at the group stage. After that Uruguay also eliminated at the Round 16 and France was loss to the Germany in the quarterfinal.

So, in the semi- final which means that the four team is (Brazil vs Germany) and (Argentina vs Nedtherlands) have to play to get the two place in the final. The host Brazil were eliminated by Germany with a big gap which is 1-7. For the 2^nd semi-final which is Argentina against Nedtherlands, the game play was extended into the penalty shootout and Argentina was won the match over Nedtherlands by 4-2. For the final game Germany will against Argentina and the champion of this competition will be decided on 13 July.

On 13 july 2014, the final match between Germany and Argentina to determine the world champion of football team was held at Estadio do Maracana Rio De Janeiro,Brazil.Before the final match began,there was a perfomanced song by Shakira and Carols Santana which the theme song of World Cup Brazil 2014 ‘la la la’. Back to the final match between Germany and Argentina,the game was played until extra time because the match ends with draw 0-0.Before the game ended,the youngest player of Germany who is Mario Gotze has score a goal with an amazing goal at the minute of 113.The game played until the final whitsle blew by the refree.So GERMANY was win the final match and make a history for the first European win the tittle at South America.For us Germany is the best team from the start won and they deserve it in tis World Cup 2014.
